Zum Muttertag - Mothers Day

Fuer Anneliese

In loving memory

Her favorite place

Her Rose

*

Von Deiner Liebe, deiner treuen Weise;

Des Herzens Fluten wallten darueber her,

Hundred of stars in the pretty sky.
Hundreds of shells on the shore together,
Hundreds of birds that go singing by.
Hundreds of lambs in the sunny weather.
Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one mother the world wide over.

*

 We miss you

  3. Dear Karin, Beautiful thoughts...in German and in English. Der gruene Kaefer, in your last photo, is the perfect styling element for your beautiful rose. Hope you don't have too many of them.
Happy Mother's Day to you. So glad I met you through the blogging world.

  4. Dear Gina,
Thank you so much, Gina, for your lovely comment!

'Der gruene Kaefer'is slightly golden, depend on the light. And - we have quite a few.....

It's also a big pleasure for me that we met via the blogworld! You were - and still are - very encouraging and helpful.
    Herzlichst - karin

  6. Liebe Karin,

    Franka

  8. Karin,

Mother's Day is a difficult time for many - those who have lost mothers, those who struggle with infertility.

May your memories of your mother wrap themselves around your heart like a warm hug. Such beautiful roses are a tribute to your mom.

    sending you hugs from Canada,
    Lorrie
