A Monday in flower...

For a good start to the week

The first rose

with a captivating fragrance,

deep dark red

and depending on the light,

sometimes almost 'black'

with petals like velvet!

Olearia macrodonta ??? not sure, forgotten the name.  Does anybody know?

building archways

growing into the hazelnut tree which contrast beautifully with the dark brown leaves

found this single blossom on a small tree growing wild...no idea - but lovely

Love the clump of simple white tulip's (the only one we have left!)

changing color delicately.

And all the Daisies - providing a beautiful flowering carpet in our garden

First bud of my German "Bauern-Pfingstrose"  (farmers paeony)

 Each day brings now something new...
