who sleep with one eye open to best keep watch over us.”

"In exploring the shared language and poetic sensibilities of all animals, I am working towards rediscovering the common ground that once existed when people saw themselves as part of nature and not outside of it. The destiny of whales cannot be separated from the destiny of man, and the destiny of man cannot be seperated from the destiny of all of nature......"

  2. Thank you so much for introducing me to this beautiful series of photographs and to Gregory Colbert's work. I'll be watching now for an opportunity to see the film and checking the library for the novel.

  3. This is a beautiful way to capture unity and harmony, Karin. These photographs are gorgeous, and remind us that we are part of the beauty of nature and should honor it.

  5. Showing our Earth's wildlife in harmony with Earth's humans is the most profound statement and one which I wholly share. I've become aware of the hideous way the livestock INDUSTRY manages the stock that I can no longer eat meat of any kind, nor use dairy products (even cheese !!!). This is NOT what was intended, the massive over consumption of animals for a small moment of pleasure while dining. Unity of all kinds needs to be the focus going forward. Though I do not agree that we can mix and mingle all peoples of our population together and expect that to work. As mankind developed, we developed in different places on Earth, like an experiment to see who would thrive. That was the Master Plan. I love you to being KARIN !!!
