"Here comes the Sun"......

....after weeks and weeks, months and months of constant rain and grey....

...finally...

 ....we had one beautiful sunny day this week,
a sunny day with a deep blue sky!

A quick peak into the garden...

"Once more the Heavenly Power
Makes all things new,
And domes the red-plowed hills
With loving blue;
The blackbirds have their wills,
The throstles too....."

"Opens a door in Heaven;
From skies of glass
A Jacob's ladder falls
On greening grass,
And o'er the mountain-walls
Young angels pass....."

 "...For now the Heavenly Power
Makes all things new,
And thaws the cold, and fills
The flower with dew;
The blackbirds have their wills,
The poets too."

by Alfred Lord Tennyson - Early Spring

  2. Dear Karin
    Your images are dreamy and how welcome that sunny day was for you. So beautiful to see life budding in it's glory, from the flowers to the bugs.
    The accompanying poem by Tennyson is perfect for this post
    Wishing you blue skies and sunshine

  3. Sweet harbingers of spring paired with the words of Tennyson. A match made in heaven! A snow weary Pennsylvanian thanks you for this beautiful composition...
