A "Wallpaper-Change"

From time to time
I feel the need for a wallpaper change,
a break from everyday life and my daily environment.

As much as I love  Mr. B,  Oskar,  La Pouyette,  the Périgord,  France....

"Ich brauchte 'nen Tapetenwechsel" - it was about time for a Wallpaper change

Off to Germany - to visit my family, friends,
and....

...my beloved Black Forest...

... it really looks wonderful this year in November....

...with all the colorful spots amongst the dark pine trees,
amazingly mild weather - just perfect for wandering...

"Oh Täler weit, oh Höhen,  oh schöner grüner Wald,
Du meiner Lust und Wehen,  andächt'ger Aufenthalt......"
Joseph Freiherr von Eichendorff, 1810

And I'm walking around...

...and being just simply happy and content.

To be continued....

...with the Upper Rhine wine region

Auf Wiedersehen!
