Pretty glass jars. And those berries! I don't think I've ever seen such enormous raspberries. I love summer gardens.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Loving the flowers. Kathy
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, Karin...you make even the most simple of things magical. Now, I wish I had some chick-chicks. Happy Sunday, my friend...
ReplyDeleteYum, those strawberries look fabulous! Does everyone who lives in France have a green thumb? Even the chickens look amazingly healthy. Thank you for the post about my giveaway that was so sweet of you! I’m off to garden and dump a lot of plant food on my flowers with any luck they’ll only look half as good as these!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday Karin!
The green thumb is a family trait?
ReplyDeleteLooks both beautiful and delicious.
And to think I have never made jam!
Hi Karin! Those berries do look delicious! I live near Watsonville California where strawberries, ollalaberries,(sp.) raspberries, and all kinds of berries, fruits and veggies grow, and I need to learn how to make preserves, can goods and just cook and make desserts with all the abundanza I'm surrounded with.
ReplyDeleteLove your posting!
Trinidad
Trinidad, will send you a mail next week to tell you how to make jam/preserves. It's very simple and easy! As we say in German "kinderleicht", which means children can do it!
ReplyDeleteAmicalement,
karin
Karin, how delicious the berries look. Making your own jam must be divine. I really must try this. XO Angela
ReplyDeleteI love the jam glasses and I would love to have them! And raspberries warm in the sun are my childhood favorite. Thank you for the beautiful summer photos Karin!

I love all of these photos! They are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour brother's garden is lush and beautiful. There is something so very magical and charming and sensuous about berries on the vine. And the hens and rooster all look like they enjoy their home. Your photos are wonderful and seem to invite us in to the garden. I am planning on making jam next weekend...you have inspired me.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about where your brother's garden is, Karin - France, Germany or elsewhere? Gorgeous photos and I'm in love with the hens!
ReplyDeleteKaren: My brother's garden is in South Germany, Baden-Wuerttemberg, near Freiburg, at the foot of Black Forest, and just on the French border to the Alsace, over the river Rhine.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the hen's are lovely, very happy, and their eggs are delicious!
Franka
