...at La Pouyette
inside...
.......and outside
October
O hushed October morning mild,
Thy leaves have ripened to the fall;
Tomorrow’s wind, if it be wild,
Should waste them all.
The crows above the forest call;
Tomorrow they may form and go.
O hushed October morning mild,
Begin the hours of this day slow.
Make the day seem to us less brief.
Hearts not averse to being beguiled,
Beguile us in the way you know.
Release one leaf at break of day;
At noon release another leaf;
One from our trees, one far away.
Retard the sun with gentle mist;
Enchant the land with amethyst.
Slow, slow!
For the grapes’ sake, if they were all,
Whose leaves already are burnt with frost,
Whose clustered fruit must else be lost—
For the grapes’ sake along the wall.****

On the palm tree, sheltered and protected from the birds
- definitely the very last one!

Warm and sunny days with deep blue skies....
...reflected in the pool
*
the first flock of cranes....
...on their way to the South...

Whilst the olives are still need some time - and hopefully more sun - to ripen....
...with Oskars help....
might you...he's pretty useless picking them up...
...he just simply likes to join me....
...and playing with everything he finds....
... wooden sticks or leaves or...
...however....
I love to have him next to me
:) :) :)
Here we are....
....about 60 Kg of walnuts - so far
my back is exhausted....
:(
...and Oskar decided to have a thoroughly wash....
or clean-up....
...a clean-up from WHAT???
I've done the work!

It's La Pouyette-October with dramatic sunsets.....
*
Sunsets....
...Oskar loves to watch...
laying.....
.....
...sitting on the porch....
.....waiting patiently....
*
Alors.... Oskar outside on the porch...
watching, being fascinated...
.....and I'm inside the house
enjoying the last sun rays.....
....floating through the rooms....
... moments of inspiration....
....peaceful moments...
...and with Mozart's Klavier Concerto No 21,
performed by Keith Jarret, piano,
and the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra
...what do we need more!
*
*
...dramatic and magic...
