Farewell OSKAR

Our beloved Oskar,  my dearest friend, the most wonderful companion,
a beautiful and pleasant "member" of the family for 13 years,
has suddenly decided to leave this world 2 days ago, February 4, 2019.

*May 2006 - 06 February 2019

Whitout any warning, no sign of any illness - simply out of the blue,
it looked like his heart has suddenly stopped.

“When I play with my cat,

how do I know that she is not playing with me rather than I with her?

Michel de Montaigne

When tomorrow starts without you,
And I am not there to see,
If the sun should rise, cannot find your eyes
All filled with joy and love for me;
I wish so much I wouldn’t cry.

While thinking of the many things,We didn’t get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you will miss me too;

A cat owner knows what's the feeling like when he lose a beloved cat.
The memories of this gentle being will always remain in the heart.
The cat is not only a pet but also a intimate company.
It is not easy to go through the loss of a cat that has been so dear.

When tomorrow starts without you,
And I am not there to see,
If the sun should rise, cannot find your eyes
All filled with joy and love for me;
I wish so much I wouldn’t cry

I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you were thinking of me,
I know you've missed me too.
*

But now La Pouyette without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I’d have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away,
A tear fell from my eye
For all my life, I’d always thought,
I didn’t want to die.
I had so much to live for,
So much left yet to do,
It almost seemed impossible

 That I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
And all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for a while,
I’d say good-bye and kiss you
And maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized,
That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories,
Would take the place of me.

And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
My heart was filled with sorrow.

So now you start without me
Don’t think we’re far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I’m right here, in your heart.

Watching the sunsets......

Goodbyes should be not for ever, they should be not the end.
They simply mean I'll miss you until we meet again.

NEW YEAR GREETINGS

What can be said in New Year rhymes,
That's not been said a thousand times?
The new years come, the old years go,
We know we dream, we dream we know.
We rise up laughing with the light,
We lie down weeping with the night.
We hug the world until it stings,
We curse it then and sigh for wings.
We live, we love, we woo, we wed,
We wreathe our prides, we sheet our dead.
We laugh, we weep, we hope, we fear,
And that's the burden of a year.

(Ella Wheeler Wilcox)

Now is the accepted time to make your regular annual good resolutions.
Next week you can begin paving hell with them as usual.”

"In exploring the shared language and poetic sensibilities of all animals, I am working towards rediscovering the common ground that once existed when people saw themselves as part of nature and not outside of it. The destiny of whales cannot be separated from the destiny of man, and the destiny of man cannot be seperated from the destiny of all of nature......"
